Artist Biography
“Dale Saunders has followed an artist’s trail for most of his adult life. His artistic skills have been influenced by work in a variety styles and creative processes. Inspiration for land and seascapes comes from experience and observation of features and imagery in a natural setting. Time spent just looking and feeling; not photographing but capturing a sense of mood and spirit of the environment. Back in the studio Dale paints boldly from memory to create imagery in colour, shape and form that evokes the sense of place and mood of the outdoor experience.
