St Maur is comprised of a total of 180 acres of which 16 acres are planted to classic grape varieties.
St Maur has a selection of classic vinifera grapes ranging from traditional Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to Chardonnay.
Our grapes are harvested in mid to late autumn and prune heavily to control leaf growth, limiting the grape quantity but produces a more intensely flavoured grape. This is specifically done to help the wine maker to create a regionally distinct and vineyard expressive wine year on year.
