A Place Called Robertson
By Tony Williams and Anna Hewgill
Four Donkey Films
72 mins | Feature Documentary| Robertson NSW 2013 | Music by Andrew Ford and Stephen Fearnley
Sunday 15 September 2pm (cafe opens at 1.30pm for homemade coffee and cake)

Tony Williams and Anna Hewgill spent three years immersing themselves in the NSW town of Robertson, to create a documentary about rural life in a small village. A Place Called Robertson is an exuberant and whimsical film that takes an affectionate look at the
characters who live in a unique Australian country town. The values of these often quirky old-timers rub off on the newcomers who are seeking a tree change. And the new residents discover there is more to Robertson than just trees.
The film stars a cast of characters from the Robertson community and features Elegy in a Country Graveyard by Andrew Ford.
A Place Called Robertson will be introduced by Tony Williams.

And There’s More!
Prior to the main feature there will be two short films by Spud Productions made in 2006 as part of a CTC Robertson/Metroscreen community project funded by Regional Arts.
Farmer Gumboot (3 mins) is a claymation with an environmental message directed by Penny
Osterhaus with a group of young animators. Penny is also one of the stars in Whispers in the Mist (5 mins) – what happens when rumours start in town about the Big Potato……

This is a fundraiser for CTC Robertson with thanks to Four Donkey Films.

Special Deal!  If you were one of the community members in any of the Robertson films being screened on 15 September, or appear in the credits for the films, you can get 50% off the ticket price if booking online.  Use the code ROBBOSTAR.
