Enjoy Christmas drinks, a late afternoon stroll through the formal gardens, beautifully decorated house interiors and relaxed Christmas shopping at stunning Retford Park.

Alfresco Afternoons at Retford Park are a very special way to have pre-Christmas catch up with loved ones.

Enjoy drinks and canapés on the front verandah of the striking Victorian Italianate mansion and a stroll through the formal gardens in the cooler evening air.

This year’s events will include a special singing performance by ‘Angels in Our Town’ – a Southern Highlands community project dedicated to bringing a deeper sense of joy, love and community to Christmas. This December, ‘Angels in Our Town’ are honouring and celebrating the unseen and unsung heroes of our district and creating a meaningful sense of giving and community connection.

Inside, the house will be beautifully decorated for Christmas celebrations. Marvel at the eclectic interior, specially dressed for the festive season, as you peruse the ground floor. Head outside to view the latest exhibition by Artists of the Round Yard, on display in the White Cottage and Round Yard.

Before you go – don’t forget to stop by the shop to browse a wide range of gorgeous gifts, including books, gardening accessories, luxury soaps and skin care, quirky toys and homewares, so you can take a little bit of Retford Park home with you.

Tickets: National Trust members $47, adults $58, concession $50. Includes a glass of sparkling wine and an assortment of delicious canapés, access to house (ground floor only) and gardens, White Cottage exhibition and the retail shop.
