Awash with Colour

“Awash” is back again!

For more than ten years, a group of BDAS artists with a passion for watercolour has been meeting regularly to practise and delight in this difficult and elusive medium. Watercolour has unique challenges, not least of all allowing pigment and paper to do their exciting thing while still being coaxed by a practiced hand.

Our mentors over the years have guided us to creating paintings that sing, to transparency and to freshness, and to letting go so that the medium can do its wonderful magic.

Under the guidance of two skilful artists, this group has once again produced works that are better than ever. The “Tuesday Watercolour Group” is delighted to exhibit the best of our endeavours in “Awash with Colour 2024”, at the Bowral Gallery from 10th to 15th October.

The official opening function will be at 4.30pm on Saturday 12th October at the Bowral Art Gallery, Short Street.
