Practical Bonsai introduction course for Beginners

Time: Commences at 10.30am 

Duration:    Approximately two hours

Cost: $155

Instructor: Dean Wilson.  Dean is a horticulturist with over 40 years’ experience, including work at the Bonsai Koreshoff Nursery and another large Bonsai production nursery.  Dean maintains a personal collection of over 100 bonsais and is highly respected by his peers in the bonsai community.

Course includes: (attendees will receive)

* A small Bonsai pot
* Bonsai soil mix and associated items
* A starter plant
* Instruction on Bonsai fundamentals with course notes.
* Hands on guidance while working with your plant.
* Access into Penjing course attendees Facebook Group
* Invitations to special events

What you need to bring:
* Sharp secateurs or bonsai pruning scissors (available for purchase if needed – $39.90 for quality Japanese pruning scissors).
* Additional Bonsai tools and accessories available for purchase in store.

This introduction to Bonsai offers both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, setting you on the path to mastering this ancient art form.

To secure your place a 50% deposit is required. Final payment is due a week before course date. Payment/s fully refunded if the course is cancelled by us for any reason.
