Centennial Vineyards Artist in Residence – Tessa Hoser Ceramics & Jan Pooley Hibberd

This autumn, Centennial Vineyards Cellar Door plays host to a captivating showcase of local creativity as part of The Pop-Up Project’s Artist-in-Residence Program.

Renowned ceramicist Tessa Hoser presents Banksia Bullets, a stunning collection of wheel-thrown and hand-built works inspired by the resilient beauty of native flora.

Drawing from the landscapes of Gundungurra and Tharawal country, Tessa’s earthy tones and rich textures reflect the strength and spirit of the Australian bush.

Joining her is celebrated Southern Highlands artist Jan Pooley-Hibberd of The Studio Ashby.

With two decades rooted in the Highlands, Jan’s work spans delicate watercolours and bold abstract ink pieces, often elevated with luxurious touches of gold.

Her paintings are a response to the drama, movement, and intensity of the Southern Highlands’ ever-changing skies and landscapes.

Together, Tessa and Jan bring a soulful expression of nature, place, and artistic passion to the cellar door.
