For the final Music Café this year, CTC Robertson is thrilled to welcome back The Troubadours, who are now joined by soul singer Lara Tomaz, on Saturday 12 October at 2pm.
“We used to be The J & B Troubadours, playing a great mix of mainly blues with some jazz standards” says guitarist/vocalist Ron Volcich. “Then, we were introduced to Lara and well, we changed our format a bit embracing more of a Soul music influence and rebranding ourselves as Lara & the Troubadours.” The Troubadours line up is Ron, John Goodwin (harmonica and vocals) and Mike Harrop (percussion).
Come and spend an afternoon with a glass of wine, a coffee or a hot chocolate and a snack, listening to Lara and the gents playing an eclectic mix of blues, jazz and soul music. A great combo, not to be missed!
Music Café is a relaxed space to listen to talented local musicians. The Cafe opens at 1.30pm and the performance runs from 2pm to 4pm with a short break in the middle.
Tickets are $10 (or gold coin at the door for children) and can be purchased online through X or at the door. Bookings are highly recommended.
