The Southern Highlands Kennel and Obedience Club Inc is a non-profit organisation that is fully staffed by volunteers. The history of the Club goes back to 1951 when it started with 31 members. Their first Show in 1952 started with 2 judges – a far cry from today’s Show when we have 26 judges.
Our Show is a popular event on the dog competition calendar as we are between Canberra and Sydney in the picturesque Southern Highlands.
The weekend of 18th, 19th and 20th in October is a three day Show with 8 rings for Breed Championship dogs. On Saturday and Sunday as well as the Breed Championships there are 5 rings for Obedience Classes and Rally Obedience Classes.
Also on Saturday and Sunday there are Retrieving Trials for dogs classed as retrievers.
At the Show are many stalls selling everything possible for your dog as well as food stalls
