“Spectrum 5” is an exhibition by Highland artists Helen Johnston and Jan Maguire at the Bowral Art Gallery, open from Thursday November 14 to Tuesday November 19.
Helen and Jan have painted together, and with friends, over the past 20 years. They exchange ideas, give encouragement and take pleasure in the sense of commitment to each other. A shared love of travel, gardens, music and books is part of the spectrum of their lives and inspires much of their work.
With the inspiration of tutors at the BDAS workshops they have continually learned new concepts and techniques which have encouraged them to further expand and develop their endeavours.
