Multi-award-winning, high-energy band, ‘The Water Runners’, are coming to Exeter. The band hails from Kiama and Gerringong, and has long been a popular act at venues, festivals and events both locally and around Australia. Their blend of original, bluegrass-infused Australian folk music draws on country and traditional Australian stories.
They sing songs of bushrangers, Aboriginal warriors, grisly murders, as well as the odd song about love and love gone wrong. They especially love to sing about the south coast (Dharawal and Yuin country) and the rivers of Australia and have attracted many awards.
This concert will feature John Littrich (guitar, vocals, harmonica), Neil McCann (banjo, mandolin, backing vocals), Danita Harris (violin, vocals) and James Turk (double bass).
They look forward to sharing their special blend of music and song with Exeter families and friends, so bring your voices with you.
