Artist Description Of Their Work And/Or Studio
In designing and creating books, I reference traditional styles as well as old historical styles and give them a modern interpretation. Some journals incorporate my print images as cover designs and endpapers. I use quality writing papers, handmade papers and vegetable tanned leathers. My prints are inspired by the natural world as well as by my overseas travels. Collagraphy and linoprints are my usually way of creating colourful and vibrant images. Images range from my native garden at home to medieval sculpture images found in Italy.
