I love to work with wood and steel and I often combine the two. Some of my pieces are ornamental and non-functional, but I also strive to incorporate an artistic slant to objects of everyday use to give a little extra joy to the final user.
Artist Biography
“I took up art late in life to follow my love for handcrafted objects and satisfy my desire to create with my own hands. I learnt wood work with some of the best artists and craftsmen in Australia and New Zealand. I studied metal work at the Sydney Art School and at TAFE, but it has been practice and more practice that got me to get where I am.” Maurizio Nannetti
