Nestled at the foothills of Mt Gibraltar and Mt Alexander, the Mittagong RSL provides a great option for your next night out, function venue, or a place to take the family. After the completion of a recent $8 million renovation, the Mittagong RSL now offers a huge variety of dining and menu options, in a safe, modern and comfortable setting.

IRONSTONE DINING

So named after the regions close affinity to iron mining and home to Australia’s first iron smelter, is the new flagship dining destination in the Southern Highlands. Featuring Ironstone Wood Fired Pizza and the Ironstone Café and Espresso Bar, the Mittagong RSL boasts an extensive menu sure to satisfy all ages and tastes, including house-made wood-fired pizzas, locally sourced succulent and perfectly cooked steaks, mouthwatering burgers, wok dishes, roasts, pastas, salads and seafood options. Ironstone Café also features our very own house-made range of pies, sausage rolls, quiches, cakes, tarts and desserts, light meals and barista coffee.

Ironstone also has a dedicated indoor soft-play facility known as Habitat. Habitat features indoor canons, slides, soft toys and climbing frame/obstacles, and is a great way to allow your children to run out that energy before sitting down to one of our delicious children’s meals.

CAFE & ESPRESSO BAR

The Cafe & Espresso Bar is open 7 days from 6am until late.

Our specialities are fresh sandwiches, milk shakes, ice creams and espresso coffee, and a particular favourite are the house-made cakes and pastries. As well as delicious gourmet pies, sausage rolls and quiches cooked fresh daily in house.

Utilising specially trained staff, we make all our own cakes, tortes and tarts daily, allowing you to choose from our freshly made treats to accompany your next coffee. We have a great range of cakes and tarts to choose from, including full flavoured, gluten-free options, and if you just can’t find the room to fit more in after dinner, just take it home!

If you are looking for a cake for a birthday or special occasion, we have some great options for you. You can either make a selection from our extensive range, or make a special request if you have a particular favourite that you would like us to make. Simply place your order with our helpful staff at the Cafe & Espresso Bar.
